Seattle Coffee Favs | Donuts Musts | Ice Cream Go - to’s
Welcome to my Coffee, Donut and Ice Cream Travel Guide of Seattle, Washington. I’ve been to Seattle three different times and most recently visited for two weeks in August. You all know I am (iced) coffee obsessed and I was determined to find the best coffee shops in the city. Below is a compiled list of my fav coffee, donut and ice cream shops in Seattle! Enjoy and let me know when you try out my recommendations!
XO, Ky
Seattle Coffee
Cafe Flora
Easily one of the cutest cafes in Seattle with a wide variety of coffee. I got the lavender vanilla oat milk latte. Everything here is vegan. I also grabbed Brunch here at it was some of the best brunch I’ve ever had. So if you have time to do coffee and brunch I would recommend it.
Victrola Coffee
Simple, delicious and a fan favorite. You can’t go wrong at Victrola Coffee. Iced Vanilla oat milk latte for me.
Milstead and Co
Located right near the water, grab your delicious specialty coffee and walk across the street to the marina. You can walk around or sit on a bench and enjoy the views. Their menu is elaborate and unique. I had an Iced latte with almond milk and added their house made vanilla syrup mixed with their house made milk chocolate syrup. SO GOOD.
KB Espresso
You won’t believe where you will find this cute mini coffee shack!?! In a gas station parking lot!!! Yupp - you heard me correctly, in a Shell Gas Station parking lot. This hidden gem is one of my Seattle’s Favorites.
Joe Bar Cafe
This cafe is for all the cool kids. What makes it so cool? They’ve got coffee, crepes, beer, wine, art, community and more. And it’s trendy. All cool things aside, the people there are great and the coffee really is that good too. I got their cold brew with almond milk.
Analog Coffee
A light and airy vibe, Analog Coffee shop, will leave you smiling and wanting more every single time. I got my typical iced vanilla oat milk latte and Analog coffee just does it right!
Fuel Coffee
Just like its name states, this coffee is strong and will give you the fuel you need to get through the day. I got an iced vanilla oat milk latte.
Coffeeholic House
Coffeeholic House might not be your typical coffee shop, but this Vietnamese coffee shop will blow your mind. The coffee is a real TREAT, rich and delicious. They are so kind there and don’t mind if you ask 2918395 questions about the items on their menu. (Whoops, I just couldn’t choose) I got the Ube latte which is why my drink is purple.
West Seattle Grounds
Head across the water to the west side of Seattle and enjoy a cold brew from West Seattle Grounds. I tried a seasonal Rum Coconut Cold Brew which was a 10/10. West Seattle is a cool place to hang by the beach, roller blade or watch the sunset over the city.
Starbucks Reserve:
It was my first time going to a Starbucks Reserve and I decided on the Starbucks Reserve Roastery & Tasting Room Exclusive Whisky Barrel-Aged Cold Brew. It came in a whisky glass with a single ice cube & sweet cream on the side. Presentation 10/10, cold brew 20/10!!! The ambiance was amazing. If you haven’t been to one of Starbucks Reserve, you need to add it to your list.
Seattle Donuts
General Porpoise Doughnuts
Okay, okay so hear me out…I do not like ANY donuts that are filled…until I tried General Porpoise Donuts. THEY ARE INCREDIBLE. They have seasonal flavors and the donuts melt in your mouth. The Donuts are so light they don’t make you feel guilty for having two.
Raised Doughnuts
If you are in Seattle these are a MUST. They sell out almost every single day and they 100% sell out every weekend so you better get there early. Try the mochi doughnuts. You can thank me later.
Top Pot Doughnuts
If you’re looking for something more “chain like” Top Pot Doughnuts are the way to go. Multiple locations to choose from too!
Seattle Ice Cream
Frankie and Jo’s
A plant based ice cream shop that will leave your mouth watering. There are traditional and seasonal flavors to choose from and there are also three different locations in Seattle. Every time I visit Seattle this is one of my first stops.
Salt and Straw
There are two Salt and Straw locations in Seattle and if you can’t make it to Seattle or one of the other cities they are located in, you can have it shipped to you. And yes, it is worth it!
Molly Moon Ice Cream (Hello Robin Cookies)
There are 9 different spots in Seattle for you to grab Molly Moon Ice Cream. I chose Hello Robin Cookies to get the best of both worlds and neither disappointed!
Happy Seattle traveling!
As always, all opinions are my own and are based on my personal experience.
