I’ve always been passionate about storytelling. I love hearing stories, capturing stories, telling stories, sharing stories & living God’s unique story for my life. As a college athlete, I was passionate about the basketball story God was writing for me. After transferring colleges, I had a fifth year to play basketball. It was in that 5th year, that I started dreaming to play professional basketball after college. I played my last game of college basketball in March 2018. I got an agent, continued to work on my game & stayed hopeful that my dreams of playing college basketball would come true. Most players get the call to move overseas over the summer.

August rolls around and I still hadn’t received a call. The next 3 months of waiting were the hardest 3 months of my life. I was at my lowest point when I heard a sermon about unsubscribing from darkness. It was this same sermon that sparked a light in me like no other. That is when my life motto: Choose Joy, Chase Joy, Believe Joy was born.

A week later, I got the call to move to Germany. December 2018, I fearlessly moved to Germany and took an 11 day solo trip that would change my life forever.

That trip opened the door to travel blogging which over the years has molded into authentically sharing my life & adventures online in hopes to inspire others to live a life they are excited about. I have built a brand on joy, authenticity & not just dreaming big but chasing those God sized dreams on your heart too. Much like everyone, the pandemic changed a lot for me. In 2020, I split my brand into what is now Joyfueled Social along with my own platform of Content Creating. Since playing ball in Germany, I went on to play in Australia and Ireland. Most recently, I lived in Australia during the majority of the pandemic where I faced many struggles. It was in these hard times, that I relied on my faith to keep going and keep believing joy. My faith is my foundation and what has guided my professional basketball, my business and my life. 

Over the last 4 years, I’ve built a personal brand, business, basketball career & this “you can do it too” lifestyle though my own experiences. I now feel called to continue to help inspire others to live a life they are excited about. Whether its through my social media services, my faith based community or just simply sharing my story, I am ready to help you live the life you’ve always wanted.
